Tomas is most recently coming from a position as Web Analyst at Eniro, a leading search company in the Nordic Market. The logic of Adobes Omniture aquisition

In October 2009 Adobe finalized it´s aquisition of Omniture. Below is the picture that explains how the two companies are suppost to supplement each other in achieving a more measurable web. By the words of Nicole Rawski:

"The ability to embed Omniture tracking capabilities within Adobe files will be extremely valuable to marketers, as they will finally have insight into how users interact with their websites and web properties. Measurement functionality will show interactions with the content (e.g., where people are abandoning within a PDF and what content is visible above the drop-off area), which will enable marketers to better optimize their efforts."

Gartner replaces BI with Advanced Analytics

In Gartners top 10 list for 2010, "Business Intelligence" has been replaced by "Advanced Analytics" as the second most important strategic technology for companies to take into consideration in their strategic planning. The meaning of Advanced Analytics is to "examine alternative outomes and scenarios before, during and after process implementation and execution". crossroad
